A retired decorator has become an overnight millionaire after his Pokemon card collection, stored in his attic for 15 years, fetched £1.56 million at auction. The collector, who bought complete sets for as little as £300, discovered their value after reading a newspaper report. A rare Charizard set alone achieved a hammer price of £100,000.
