AAP Delhi president Saurabh Bharadwaj lodged a complaint against the Shri Keshav Ramlila Committee for burning a cockroach effigy. He claimed the act hurt religious sentiments and demanded the registration of an FIR against the organisers. Delhi minister Kapil Mishra, who attended the event, responded sarcastically to the complaint. The effigy was burned alongside traditional figures of Ravan, Kumbhakaran, and Meghnad during the event.
