Het Kankeronderzoeksinstituut Gent (CRIG) bestaat deze maand 10 jaar. Het instituut verbindt 700 laboranten, artsen en biomedici die onderzoek doen naar kanker in de schoot van het UZ Gent, de UGent en het Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie. "We zijn een springplank voor jonge onderzoekers", zegt voorzitter en professor Karim Vermaelen.
