Speaking at a conference in Łódź, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski criticized Elon Musk for attempting to interfere in international politics following operational restrictions placed on Starlink and Starshield in Ukraine, remarking that he hopes Musk “flies to Mars.” Noting that Poland funds roughly $50 million annually for Ukrainian Starlink services, Sikorski pointed to European initiatives – including a joint project by ICEYE and Nokia – to build sovereign satellite alternatives.
