Ondanks miljardeninvesteringen in defensie slaagt Saudi-Arabië er niet in om de aanhoudende aanvallen van de Houthi-rebellen in Jemen af te slaan. Het land blijkt onvoldoende gewapend tegen de goedkope raketten en drones van de Houthi’s. Kroonprins Mohammed bin Salman zoekt daarom wanhopig steun bij zijn bondgenoten, maar die lijken weinig bereid om zich rechtstreeks in het conflict te mengen.
