El municipio de Querétaro, encabezado por el presidente municipal Felipe Fernando Macías Olvera, se consolida como la segunda capital del país con mayor percepción de seguridad, de acuerdo con la más reciente Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad Pública Urbana (ENSU) realizada por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI), en la cual Querétaro recibió la calificación más alta desde que comenzó a realizarse dicha medición, con 73.2 por ciento.
