El Gobierno central prevé ampliar y reforzar la red eléctrica de Baleares hasta 2030 con 11 nuevos parques de subestaciones y 150 kilómetros de nuevas líneas. La propuesta también contempla actuar sobre otros 72 kilómetros de tendidos existentes, con lo que la planificación afecta a un total de 222 kilómetros de infraestructura eléctrica.
