De Italiaanse priester Don Benedetto vertrekt dan toch terug naar Italië. Dat doet hij op eigen initiatief, omdat hij de Nederlandse taal niet op tijd onder de knie zou krijgen. Hij moest van het bisdom Hasselt tegen juni 2027 niveau 4 behalen, maar dat acht hij zelf niet mogelijk. De Italiaanse gemeenschap in Limburg blijft nu achter met 2 priesters in plaats van 3.
