De Amerikaanse justitie doet een derde poging om oud-FBI-baas James Comey te vervolgen. "Daar heb je ze weer", reageert Comey laconiek op de nieuwe beschuldigingen. "Het zou haast grappig zijn als het niet zo'n walgelijk machtsmisbruik van Justitie zou zijn." De nieuwe zaak draait om een artikel van The New York Times uit 2016 , waarin een anonieme overheidsbron wordt opgevoerd. Volgens de aanklagers zat Comey achter dat lek en is hij daarom schuldig aan het doorspelen van geheime informatie. Het artikel draaide om een geheim gerechtelijk bevel dat provider Yahoo opdracht gaf e-mails te scanne
