Cada 15 de octubre -día de la ejecución de Lluís Companys, President que fue de la Generalitat de Cataluña durante la Segunda República, Guerra Civil incluida- surge la siguiente pregunta: ¿por qué un mártir del nacionalismo catalán tiene tan poca bibliografía? Lo cierto del caso es que la figura de Lluís Companys -pese a su cruel muerte ante un pelotón de fusilamiento después de un juicio impropio- no es homologable al tipo del héroe nacional.
