A 65-year-old disabled passenger, Kirpal Singh, faced issues during his air travel from Amritsar to London. Singh did not receive the requested wheelchair assistance at Istanbul airport, leaving him stranded for nearly 24 hours. His checked-in baggage was delayed, causing him to miss a subsequent flight to Toronto after arriving in London. Following his complaints, the consumer commission ordered both airlines to pay compensation for the harassment experienced.
