El dinero asignado a los animales de compañía creció de S/260 millones en el 2023 a S/298,6 millones en el 2025. Además, más de la mitad de las familias tiene por lo menos un perro en casa, según la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares (Enaho), del INEI.
