Iraniërs gaan al jaren massaal als toerist naar Turkije, vooral in de grensstreek. Nu de Iraanse economie slechter draait door de oorlog, komen er minder Iraniërs naar Turkije. „We hoopten dat de internationale sancties zouden verdwijnen. Maar het tegenovergestelde is gebeurd. Daar voelen wij hier de gevolgen van.”
