Am 3. November entscheidet sich, ob US-Präsident Donald Trump weiter auf einen ihm wohlgesonnenen US-Kongress setzen kann oder mit Gegenwind rechnen muss. Trumps Republikanern droht der Verlust ihrer Mehrheiten in Repräsentantenhaus und Senat. Im Falle des Senats müssen die Demokraten vier Sitze gewinnen, ohne einen Sitz zu verlieren. Und langsam wird es ernst – etwa im Rennen um Texas, wo die Stimmabgaben schon laufen.
