De plannen voor een snellaadstation langs de Tiensesteenweg in Glabbeek staan op losse schroeven na een negatief advies van het Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer (AWV). Het Agentschap wil niet dat het laadstation voor elektrische auto's op de steenweg een aparte in- en uitrit krijgt. Burgemeester Peter Reekmans (Dorpspartij) begrijpt die beslissing niet en vreest dat het laadstation er daardoor misschien niet komt.
