In Denderleeuw is het natuurlandschap Wolfsgracht officieel geopend. De stad besloot het 15 hectare grote gebied om te vormen tot een echt natuurlandschap met bomen, graslanden, wandelpaden en een speelzone. Omdat in het gebied ook bouwgronden liggen, komen er ook woningen. "Meestal wordt er eerst gebouwd en dan het groen aangelegd, maar hier moeten de gebouwen zich 'voegen' naar de natuur", zegt schepen Jan De Nul (CD&V).
