Gut acht Jahre nach dem Cambridge-Analytica-Skandal um den Missbrauch von Facebook-Nutzerdaten ist der Mutterkonzern Meta zu einem Milliardenbußgeld verurteilt worden. Ein Richter im Bundesstaat New Mexico legte die Strafe für Meta am Mittwoch auf 25 Mrd. Dollar (gut 22 Mrd. Euro) fest, wie der Sender CNBC und andere Medien berichteten. Der Konzern will das Urteil den Berichten zufolge anfechten.
